Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire is a sleepy town on the island in Montreal named"the West Island. This is also known as the West Island, which is frequently described as a separate "island" west of Montreal by those not familiar with it, in reality includes everything that is west of Lachine. Amanda Brugel was born there as well. She only was there for a brief period. Brugel grew up in Courtice near Oshawa, Ontario. Her initial goals were to become an experienced dancer. In the end, however, her growth rise meant that she had outgrown her dance partners. According to an article in the Toronto Star she admitted, "In heels, I'm 6 feet 1 inch. As soon as I reached the height of my male partners that I worked together, I made the decision to stop. Former dancers often turn to acting. In the case of Brugel it was the guidance of an instructor in drama at her high school that brought her to take the step she wanted. It was suggested that she participate of the production at her school. The teacher suggested she audition for a character in the school's annual production. She ended up being selected to portray Anne of Green Gables. It was her turn to be awarded a Fine Arts Talent scholarship at York University, where she was a theatre student and earned the Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2000.
